Pregnant bodies undergo such a vast amount of change, that some discomfort/pain is usually inevitable. Sometimes these painful conditions can be so restrictive that you end up not moving at all for fear of pain. However, because the body loves movement, this lack of it can exacerbate symptoms even further – and it just ends up being a vicious cycle!
So what is one to do? How much pain is safe to move through? And what is the balance between the amount of movement that will makes things better, and what may just make it worse? In this short video we offer a bit of guidance on working through musculoskeletal pain (pain that comes from joints and muscles) during pregnancy.
